Basia was in the studio tonight finishing up vocals for a track she donated her voice to called "Waiting." If you haven't heard Basia talk about this project in recent interviews, the song explores the perspective of families whose loved ones are deployed and serving their country. Never mind the politics of military and war; the lyrics and vocal delivery express the fear and uncertainty that any military family from any country goes through, not knowing whether they will see their husband, father, son or friend ever again. It's a beautiful piece that will be released soon!
