TORONTO, ON - April 2, 2009 - Rock n' roll singer songwriter Basia Lyjak is filming the pilot for her own reality TV show! The buzz about Basia's passion, talent and unflappable drive to succeed is loud, clear and impossible to ignore. For those still missing out on her huge voice, spitfire stage presence and ultra-catchy songs, camera crews will capture it all to get you up to speed. Basia is living her dream every day, but at no small cost - from the grime of working her fingers to the bone to make ends meet, to the glamour and grit of the music industry, to the ultimate climax of live performance, the pilot will profile the rollercoaster ride of this rising Canadian star with nowhere to go but up.
Crews have been following Basia since her CMW showcase, catching a slew of interviews, including with SyncLive.com, UCS Live and UCS Wave, and they will be on hand on April 11th, 2009 to capture her debut performance at the Hideout, one of the hottest live music venues on Toronto's Queen St. W. strip right now.
